THEATRE ROLLO was founded in 1972. We are a professional theatre supported by the City of Helsinki and Ministry of Education and Culture.

ROLLO creates performances for the whole family. Our tool kit consists of humour, movement and live music. Our performances are all premiers created by teamwork by the whole artistic crew. Live music that has been exquisitly composed for the purpose plays an important role in our performances.

ROLLO tours widely all over Finland performing in schools and kindergartens, in market squares, streets and concert halls. Our office and rehersal studio are based in Kallio district in Helsinki.

On our tours, we have all the necessary theatre technique on us. All we need is just the space and some electricity.

Our performers are all skillful and experienced professionals of theatre and music. Our expertise is creating genuinly interactive performances. We respect our audiences and want to offer intellectually challenging and emotional performances. We believe in the power of laughter regardless of age and offer our audience a joyful experience.
